Matsqui Institution remains under lockdown after an inmate was stabbed Friday night. The victim was airlifted to hospital.

Officials with the Union of Canadian Correctional Officers say the other inmates were placed back in their cells without incident. The institution has not confirmed what weapon was used or who the victim is.
