HALIFAX – Sunday’s Nor’Easter has prompted many Nova Scotia schools and businesses to close on Tuesday.
- All schools in the Halifax Regional School Board are closed.
- All schools in the South Shore Regional School Board are closed.
- All schools in the Tri-County Regional School Board are closed.
- All schools in the Chignecto-Central School Board are closed.
- All schools in the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board are closed today.
- All schools in the Cape Breton Victoria Regional School Board are closed today.
- All schools in the Strait Regional School Board are closed today.
- Centre scolaire de la Rive-Sud is closed today.
- École acadienne de Truro is closed today.
- École Rose-des-Vents is closed today.
- Sandy Lake Academy is closed.
- Halifax Christian Academy is closed.
- NSCC Metro, Burridge (Yarmouth), Shelburne, Kingstec, Strait, Marconi and AVC campuses are closed.
- da Vinci College will be closed today.
- All classes and programs are canceled at the Dartmouth Learning Network.
- Municipal Offices in Pictou, Colchester, Cumberland,Hants, Annapolis, Kings, Queens, Digby, Shelburne, Lunenburg, and Yarmouth counties will open at noon.
- CMHA Halifax-Dartmouth Social Clubs and programs cancelled today.
- Canadian Red Cross offices will delay opening until noon in Amherst, Bridgewater, Kentville, Truro, and Yarmouth.
