WATCH ABOVE: Candlelight vigil held in memory of Dawns Baptiste
Calgary – Police have a person of interest in custody in connection with the city’s most recent homicide.
Investigators have not released the identity of the man as he is not considered a suspect at this time, but said on Sunday that he was being questioned by police.
Police said the man was seen with Dawns Baptiste in the hours leading up to her death.

A candlelight vigil was held Sunday night in Whitehorn in Baptiste’s memory. Her body was found in the backyard of a home in Whitehorn on Thursday.
Baptiste was homeless and had recently spent time at the Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre.
Police have not yet laid charges in connection to her death.
