The internet has given us so much, from social media to ordering food without picking up the phone. Now it will give you a boyfriend, or girlfriend.

The apps “Invisible Boyfriend” and “Invisible Girlfriend” claim to give you “real world and social proof that you’re in a relationship … even if you’re not.”

The founder, a recent divorcee who was tired of getting asked about his relationship status, says there has been a lot of positive feedback. In fact, the app’s gone viral and it looks like people are willing to pay $25 a month to get those pesky friends and family off your back.
