TORONTO – Those wishing to get their hands on a copy of the latest Charlie Hebdo French magazine in Toronto will have to wait until Monday.
Officials from Gateway Newsstands said a delivery from Paris to their distributor in Montreal came in later than expected, causing the delayed delivery to Toronto.
Copies will be sold at five Toronto stores including Gateway Newsstands at Yonge and St. Clair and at BCE Place, Presse Internationale stores on Bloor St. and Queen St., and at an International News outlet on Front St.

However, those looking to pick one up might find it a little tricky as both Gateway Newsstands have reportedly pre-sold their copies.
The Canadian distributor for the satirical magazine, LMPI, says 1,500 copies will be available in Canada which is up from the usual 100 that are delivered each week.

Last week, two gunmen stormed the Charlie Hebdo headquarters in Paris, killing 12 people.
The publication had faced repeated threats for depictions of the Prophet Muhammad. Many Muslims believe all images of the Prophet are blasphemous.
The magazine sold out in Paris newsstands before dawn on Wednesday when it was initially released.
