A marine mammal made waves today when it was spotted sunning on the steps of the Sydney Opera House in Australia Tuesday.
A New Zealand fur seal climbed out of the ocean and up the Opera House’s VIP steps, resting on the plateau to grab some rays.
It even put on a show, frolicking in the waves by the Opera House.

Delighted bystanders speculated whether this seal was the same one which appeared on the steps last October.
The New South Wales Office of Heritage and Environment has not confirmed whether this is the infamous Sydney Seal, but the Sydney Opera House posted a photo of the seal on Instagram with the caption: “He’s back!”
The seal even greeted its fans on social media.
