Fire destroys business in Shellbrook, Sask.

SHELLBROOK, Sask. – Mounties are investigating a fire that destroyed a business in Shellbrook, Sask. on Boxing Day. At 1:30 a.m., RCMP and the local fire department were called to a structure fire on Main Street.

When emergency crews arrive, the building was fully engulfed in flames. The fire crew was able to control the blaze and save the neighbouring business from also being destroyed.

RCMP say the cause of the fire is not considered suspicious. No injuries were reported.

Shellbrook is approximately 125 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
