CALGARY- An SUV went off the road and rolled down an embankment in North Glenmore Park Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m., where they found a woman trapped inside a Nissan SUV.
Police say the roof and hood were crushed in, so fire crews used hydraulic rescue tools through the back of the SUV to free the victim.
Crews extricated the woman from the vehicle, put her on a spine board and carried her up the hill.
She was then taking to Foothills Hospital.
