HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police are investigating a stabbing that happened in an apartment on Buddy Daye St. in Halifax just after noon on Friday.
Police say a 36-year-old woman was stabbed by a 35-year-old woman who is known to her. The victim suffered non-life threatening wounds to her stomach and arm.

The suspect fled on foot down Gottingen Street, prompting a police search. She has not yet been located.
The victim was able to walk from the apartment to the ambulance, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
