EDMONTON — The death of a 30-year-old man who was shot Saturday morning in west Edmonton has been ruled a homicide.
An autopsy revealed David John Labelle died from a gunshot wound.
Police were called to the area of 133 Street and 155 Avenue around 5 a.m. on Nov. 22 after shots were fired inside an area home. The victim went to a neighbour for help while the suspect fled the area, investigators said Saturday.

The victim was taken to hospital with critical injuries. Police said he died in hospital Saturday night.
Officers believe the suspect and the victim knew each other, and that it was not a random incident. Homicide detectives continue to investigate.
