HALIFAX – Police are investigating two hit and runs in Halifax on Wednesday evening.
The first happened at Herring Cove Road near Greystone Drive at 7:40 p.m.
Police say a vehicle suddenly hit a car, sending it into a ditch before driving off.
An infant and two adults were inside the vehicle at the time.
All three were taken to hospital, but there were no major injuries and they have since been released.

Police say they found the vehicle they believe hit the car, but they are still searching for the driver.
The second hit and run happened at Lacewood Drive and Dunbrack Street at 9:40 p.m.
Police have charged a 16-year old boy in the incident.
They say it happened while the teenager was turning left at the intersection and struck another vehicle before driving off.
The three occupants of the second vehicle, one of whom is a four year old girl, were treated and released by EHS at the scene.
A number of people witnessed the incident and took the licence plate number of the vehicle that drove off.
Police traced the vehicle to a home nearby where they arrested the teenager.
He’s charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident and will be in court at a later date.
