VANCOUVER – There is good news this morning for skiers and snowboarders in Metro Vancouver.
Two local mountains will be opening Saturday morning.

The Eagle Express Chairlift at Cypress Mountain will be up and running Saturday at 10 a.m. The mountain will also open up its skate park.
Skiers and riders will be able to enjoy Paradise Bowl at Grouse Mountain starting tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Both mountains are crediting this stretch of cool weather for being able to open this weekend.
