1 person has left hospital after Co-Op refinery fire 2 weeks ago

Nearly two weeks after the Co-op refinery explosion and fire in Regina, one of the injured is out of hospital and recovering at her home in Edmonton. 

Tony Bourque, vice president of Skyway/Skyhigh Canada, the contracting company at the refinery, says the woman is – quote -“doing just fine.”

He says one other injured worker remains in critical condition at the Regina General Hospital burn unit. 

Thirty-six people were injured in the blast and fire, believed to have started when a mix of hydrogen gas and diesel from a leaky pipe ignited.
