ABOVE: Truck rollover shuts down the DVP
TORONTO – The Don Valley Parkway was closed in both directions near Eglinton Avenue Tuesday after a truck flipped over the median.
The truck was driving south along the DVP near Eglinton Avenue when it hit the median and spilled its contents across several lanes of the expressway.
The truck ended up on its side and emergency crews had to rescue the driver from inside.
The northbound lanes of the DVP opened up shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Traffic could be slow in the area for several hours as police investigate.
