7-year-old hit by cab after Winnipeg Blue Bombers game

WINNIPEG – A seven-year-old boy sustained serious injuries when he was hit by a cab Saturday night after the Blue Bombers game.

The boy was hit on Markham Road near Pembina Highway at around 9:30 p.m. by a Toyota Prius and was rushed to hospital shortly after.

He has since been upgraded to stable to condition.

There is no word on what caused the collision and charges have not been laid.

Police are still investigating the incident.
