WINNIPEG – Firefighters were battling a house fire in the Weston area late Thursday.
Crews found the rear of the home at 2143 Gallagher Ave. engulfed in flames when they arrived shortly after 5 p.m.

It didn’t take long for firefighters to douse the flames that appear to have started in the back porch area of the 1 1/2 storey wood frame house.
There were no reports of injuries.
