Halloween house of horrors terrifies neighbourhood

TORONTO – A Pittsburgh-area homeowner has taken Halloween decorating to a new and terrifying level with a ghoulish display complete with severed plastic heads, caged demon dolls, and a giant blood spattered cannibal bunny.

The disturbing display has upset some residents of Brookline, Pennsylvania who find the house of horrors too extreme and have asked for the decorations to be removed, WPXI reported.

But homeowner and self-professed “King of Halloween” Joe D’Auria, who’s been decorating his home for Halloween for 20 years, says he’s received more cheers than jeers when it comes to the house.

“Overwhelmingly, people seem to enjoy it,” D’Auria told WPXI, “they keep coming by giving me thumbs up and high fives and tooting their horns.”
