WINNIPEG – Police are investigating after a body was pulled from the Red River near Henderson Highway on Wednesday.
The body was removed from the river at around 6:30 p.m.

The body had been in the water for a long time, police said.
They couldn’t say whether foul play was suspected or be more specific about how long it had been in the river.
An autopsy should provide more details, police said.
