WINNIPEG — Music has been part of Valerie Pearson’s life since she started playing piano as a child.
Decades later, she decided to take trumpet lessons and now, at 73, she’s hitting the stage with dozens of other Winnipeggers for the Manitoba Seniors Music Festival, Oct. 14-30.
