Janet Davis wins in Toronto’s Ward 31 Beaches-East York

TORONTO – Coun. Janet Davis has won re-election in Ward 31, Beaches-East York, in the 2014 Toronto election.

She ran against eight other candidates with the issues of child care, transit and services taking centre stage.

Davis won with nearly 62 per cent of the vote. George Papadakis finished in a distant second with 14.7 per cent.

In the 2010 election, Davis won the seat for Ward 31, Beaches-East York, with 63 per cent of the vote.
