KELOWNA – A downtown Kelowna vinyl record store became a film set Tuesday morning for a new TV movie.
Sepia Films is shooting scenes for Wrecking Ball aka A Wife’s Nightmare which is directed by Canadian filmmaker Vic Sarin
It stars Jennifer Beals, Dylan Neale, Spencer List and Katharine McNamara.
In a synopsis of the movie, Okanagan Film Commissioner, Jon Summerland, says: “Liz, just returned home after a mental breakdown, has to welcome a relative stranger into her home when Caitlin, a young, vivacious woman, claims to be her husband’s daughter. The family loves Caitlin, but Liz can’t trust her, and this time she’s not being paranoid.”
Summerland says it’s the first of two TV movies being shot in the Okanagan in the upcoming months.
“We are doing things right when production companies are returning year after year with multiple productions.”
