This week on Focus Montreal: September 21

Focus Montreal introduces Montrealers to people who are shaping our community, bringing their stories into focus.

It airs on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and at midnight.

54 per cent of children in this nation of four million live in extreme poverty, an astonishing 16 per cent never live to see their fifth birthday. Most of us would find it all too overwhelming, but not Cheryl, this Montrealer and her husband decided to help.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

The Walkathon fundraiser for Mwana villages is happening Saturday, October 4th in NDG. You can sign up to join on the Mwana Villages Facebook page.
