CALGARY- About 750 homes remained without power on Friday evening, following a summer snowstorm that toppled trees and ripped out electricity lines across the city.
Enmax crews have been working tirelessly to restore power, but many homeowners need to get electricians on site to repair damage before being hooked back up to the grid.

However, if it was city tree that ripped a line down, then Enmax will take care of it.
“Enmax has been pretty helpful, and they’ve been calling me back to see how things are,” says Briar Hill resident Jill Agnew, who has been without power for over 60 hours. “Insurance claims are helpful, but I’d rather get it done by the people who provide the power.”
On Friday, power was restored to more than 1,000 homes around Calgary, as well as to customers on the Tsuu T’ina Reserve.
There is still no timeline for when all of the power will be restored, and every report is being handled on a case by case basis.
