The new Terry Fox Memorial outside BC Place was unveiled this morning.
The new memorial was designed by renowned Vancouver artist and Fox family friend, Douglas Coupland.
The memorial is made up of four bronze statues symbolizing Terry’s distinctive running style. According to Coupland, the statues are “running” towards Stanley Park, where Fox intended to end his run in 1980.
