CALGARY – Investigators are trying to determine what sparked a fire at a northeast gas station on Monday.

Crews were called to the Petro-Canada on 16th Avenue and 6th Street N.E. around 5:30 a.m.

Flames and huge plumes of smoke could be seen billowing from the building.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the roof and extinguish it.

No injuries were reported.
