CALGARY – Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Lethbridge man charged with bigamy.
33-year-old Kevin James Shannon is accused of marrying his second wife without divorcing his first one.
Lethbridge Police say he first married in 2005 and the couple separated in 2009 but did not get divorced.
In May, he wed a 25-year-old woman, signing documents that said he had never been married.
She alerted police in June after learning he was still married.
Investigators don’t believe religious aspects are involved in the matter.
Anyone with information about Shannon’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
