TORONTO – Toronto police have charged a 35-year-old Toronto man with attempted murder following a stabbing incident in west-end Toronto Sunday night.
Police say the accused was involved in a dispute with another man at a bar on Weston Road near Lawrence Avenue West just before 10 p.m. when he slashed the victim in the neck.
A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition.
Christopher Goodfellow has also been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
