Please Mum is reducing operations to 21 stores across Canada, with three left in B.C., after a posting on its website said it was undergoing “large scale restructuring”.
Global BC has received Facebook comments and emails saying employees showed up to work on Monday morning, only to find out that most of the stores were closing.

“As a result of significant shifts in the retail landscape, we’ve had to make tough decisions about the future of our company,” said Kathryn Adrian, founder and chief executive officer. “We’re restructuring our business in the long-term interest of the company, our employees, customers, suppliers, and creditors.”
