Saskatoon motorists entering the landfill must drive south on Dundonald Road past the CN mainline rail crossing to the new landfill access road, opening at approximately 6:00 p.m. Monday night.

Motorists can head east on the new landfill access road to get to the landfill, or west on the new landfill access road to carry on along Valley Road.

Residents are reminded to stay in the center lane while entering the landfill. The right lane is reserved for City, commercial, and construction trucks with automated entry to the landfill.

There is a new four-way stop present along the entrance road prior to reaching the entrance scale.

This detour will be in place for approximately one month.

The detour is to allow crews to construct the new access ramp to Valley Road from the new Circle Drive overpass.
