WINNIPEG – RCMP showed off stacks of cash following a drug raid at a home in Camperville, Man., this week.
“A significant amount of marijuana as well as a large sum of cash” and six guns were seized at the home on Wednesday, an RCMP news release said.
A “significant” amount of cash was seized, said RCMP media relations officer Tara Seel, but she said she couldn’t supply an exact figure because of the ongoing investigation.

A man and woman at the house during the 5 a.m. raid were arrested and charges against them are pending, RCMP said.
The owners weren’t at the house during the raid but were arrested later.
Peter Paul Chartrand, 58, was arrested a few hours after the raid. He faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possessing proceeds of crime and unsafe storage of firearms.
Sharon Lynn Chartrand, 53, was arrested Thursday and faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
They are both scheduled to appear in Dauphin provincial court on Aug. 26.
Camperville is 315 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg on the shores of Lake Winnipegosis.
