The Rosetown RCMP is releasing new details in their investigation into Carol King’s disappearance, including a picture of King’s PT Cruiser.
The major crimes unit has finished their search of the slough where King’s vehicle was found late last week.
Investigators drained the slough over the weekend to ensure a complete search of the area.

While several items were found, none helped police locate King.
A smaller slough nearby was also searched, but nothing was recovered.
RCMP Search and Rescue conducted a ground search of King’s home and the area around the slough, with no results.
The RCMP is asking farmers and residents in the area to be observant, especially with the upcoming harvest.
Police are asking anything that looks out of the ordinary shouldn’t be tampered with, and instead reported to the Rosetown RCMP Detachment at 306-882-5700
