MONTREAL – An 81-year-old man is dead after being crushed by a vehicle in a garage in Lasalle.
At around 8:45 a.m., police were alerted to the scene on Dollard avenue.
“The victim was working inside the garage when the vehicle started moving by itself,” said Constable Manuel Couture of the Montreal police.
“The man was stuck between the car and the wall.”

The man was declared dead on the scene.
Investigators are working to establish the circumstances of the accident.
