WEST VANCOUVER, B.C. – West Vancouver police say a brass propeller that was once attached to a vessel owned by infamous rum-runner Al Capone has been stolen from a local home.

Police say the 135-kilogram propeller worth about $5,000 was taken from the front yard of a residence early Friday morning.
They say the propeller is heavy and would need to be carried by three to four people.
West Vancouver police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
