Pets in the Park

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Today we had a chance to hang out with Chi to talk about Pets in the Park. The event is a collaboration between the Saskatoon SPCA, New Hope Dog Rescue and SCAT Street Cat Rescue Program. Money raised will help fund medical care for animals in need.

The event has been going on for nine years and has since grown. On Sunday there will be live music, food and treats for those that participate.

It isn’t everyday that pets are allowed in Kiwanis Park but on Sunday they have receive an exemption from the city. If you and your pet (even cats!) want to come down it is all starting at 9 a.m.
