Winnipeg football stadium going Google

WINNIPEG – You’ll soon be able to take a virtual tour of Winnipeg’s football stadium courtesy of Google and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

A Google employee wearing a towering camera contraption ran around Investors Group Field Wednesday, recording images of the facility that will eventually be accessible online — similar to the Google Street View feature that allows users to see neighbourhoods all over the world.

Google said it creates virtual images of sports facilities like IGF only by invitation ,which in this case would have to come from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
