Quebec announces $4.9 billion to fix province’s roads

MONTREAL – Quebec plans to invest $4.9 billion in road networks throughout the province over the next two years, including $1.4 billion in the Montreal area.

Most of these funds will go to the maintenance of roads and infrastructure, Transport Minister, Robert Poëti, said on Monday morning.

The money that will be invested in the Montreal area will give the green light to 74 projects.
