Langley RCMP are looking for a suspect in the sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl.

Police say the student took advantage of an extended break from school to go down to the docks at Glover and Billy Brown Roads and read a book.

As she was sitting on one of the piers, a young man passed by on a bicycle. He returned 10 minutes later, asking to join her.

She didn’t reply, but the man sat down anyway.

He said his name was Lucas. They talked for a short time, until without warning, he reached out and touched her breast.

She got up to leave and he took off down a trail on his bike heading westbound.

The suspect is described as white, approximately 19-years-old, medium build, between 5’5” and 5’6” with curly brown hair, facial stubble, and wearing a brown T-shirt. He may have a scar on his forehead.
