TSAWWASSEN, B.C. – A ferry put out of commission for repairs following a “hard landing” at the Tsawwassen terminal, south of Vancouver, is whisking people across the seas once more.

BC Ferries crews completed welding work on the Queen of Nanaimo, making it seaworthy for the 7:15 a.m. sailing from Salt Spring Island.
The journey was slightly delayed, as was the following trip, but otherwise the vessel was back in action.
Three sailings to the southern Gulf Islands were cancelled Saturday after Friday night’s incident.
