It’s a challenge facing one in six couples yet many experiencing infertility suffer in silence. At 6:45 we get the conversation started about the medical issue and current lack of public funding. We chat with Dr. David Young of Atlantic Assisted Reproductive Technologies and Infertility Patient Advocate Carolyn Dube who shares her personal struggle tomorrow on The Morning News.

This weekend the doors will be wide open in Halifax as the city celebrates the 2nd annual Doors Open Halifax event. At 7:15 we’ll get the chance to venture into buildings and admire the architecture that we don’t often get to see. We’ll be joined by Doors Open president Hugh MacKay who will highlight some of the must-see properties in our city.

Halifax is getting the fitness bug thanks to “Fitness Week”. It’s an event meant to highlight the independent fitness providers and the services offered. At 745 we’ll talk with the folks behind Cyclone Fitness and Core Essentials from Dartmouth.

The doctor is in the house just in time for summer road trips and camping. At 8:15 we’ll talk about some basic first aid to keep the bug bites, sunburns and swimmer’s ear at bay when Dr. Howard Conter drops by the Morning News.

We’re in for a treat at 8:45 as veteran Canadian musician Tom Wilson stops by for a chat and performance. Tom is in town for the Raise A Little Hellp fundriaser in support of Habitat For Humanity Thursday night at Delta Halifax.
