Minister of Aboriginal Affairs David Zimmer was reelected by over 7,000 votes last election, his third straight win here. The Tories have success in Bayview and Hillcrest villages, while the Liberals do well in the areas in and around Yonge Street.

By the numbers

Willowdale’s population increased by 8.6% between the 2006 and 2011 census, the most in Toronto. 31.2% identified as Chinese in the 2011 census, the third-highest in the province.
