MONTREAL — A 24-year-old man was stabbed early Saturday morning at Angrignon Park.
According to Montreal police, a fight broke out among a group of friends just after midnight.
“There were multiple people on the site, but we don’t know if it was a big brawl or just a disagreement,” said constable Jean-Pierre Brabant.
The victim was stabbed in his upper body.
“He didn’t want to go to the hospital,” said Brabant.
“But he did and we know now he is out of danger. We don’t fear for his life.”
A minor was arrested, but neither the suspect nor the victim are co-operating.
Police have yet to figure out what the initial conflict was about.
