CALGARY- A Red Deer man who was charged with sexual interference is once again under investigation, along with his wife.
RCMP say a man ignored a court order to refrain from contact with anyone under age 16, and he and his wife befriended a young family and invited them to their home several times.
Fortunately, a medical assessment of the child involved showed they were not physically harmed.
61-year-old Allan William Halliday faces four counts of breach of recognizance. His wife, 57-year-old Barbara Halliday, has been charged with four counts of aid and abet breach of recognizance.
Allan Halliday was first charged in August 2013, after allegations that he inappropriately touched a girl while she was playing at an outdoor pool at the Red Deer Recreation Centre.
The Hallidays are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
