CALGARY- A number of roads in northwest Calgary were shut down on Wednesday afternoon, after a suspicious package was discovered.
A man in Edgemont found the package in his garage around 4 p.m., and called police.

The tactical unit was called in to investigate, and blocked off several streets.
Those living in the surrounding area were asked to stay inside, until the situation was considered safe.
