CALGARY- A brand new hotel is getting set to open its doors, bringing with it hundreds of jobs.
The Tsuu T’ina Nation is putting the finishing touches on a multi-million dollar, 178 room hotel, which sits beside the Grey Eagle Casino in southwest Calgary.

Not only does it boast an entertainment centre, restaurant, lounge and spa, but it’s also providing employment for those who live on the nation.
“If there were more programs like this, it would be awesome for more First Nation members to be a part of this, and we can all work together,” says Tanya Eagletail, who will be working at the front desk. “There’d be less people on social assistance, and just get everyone working.”
The hotel officially opens to the public on May 4.
