Cash, smokes taken in Spryfield robbery

HALIFAX – Police said a convenience store employee was not harmed after a robbery in Spryfield Tuesday night.

Around 8:45 p.m., police were called to a robbery at Danielson’s Tobacco on Dentith Road. According to police, a man walked in and demanded cash and cigarettes. The female clerk complied and was not injured.

Police said they are looking for the suspect; a white man in his mid-30s. He was wearing a black winter jacket with a grey stripe and a logo. He also wore a ski mask and gloves.

Police said they are still investigating the matter.
