TORONTO – Quinte Conservation has downgraded flood warnings for the Moira River, in the rural part of Belleville, and for the Salmon and Napanee Rivers in the Napanee and Shannonville areas.
The authority replaced the warning for the Moira with a flood outlook because of declining water levels.

Water levels are down but haven’t reached normal spring runoff levels, and there are still some rural Belleville residents who can’t return to their homes.
Levels in Salmon and Napanee River watersheds are returning to the usual conditions for this time of year.
