TORONTO – Toronto police were called to an east-end Toronto apartment overnight because of an unusual intruder.
A woman found a ball python in the bathtub in her Victoria Park Avenue unit just after 3:30 a.m.

Animal control was called in and removed the snake which appeared unharmed.
Police say it’s believed the reptile was flushed down a toilet by its previous owner.
An investigation is underway.
