BIRCH COVE, N.L. – A 49-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle accident in Newfoundland.
RCMP say the man was the only occupant of the vehicle involved in the crash today on Route 235 near Birchy Cove.

Police say they got a call at about 9:15 a.m. about the accident.
The Mounties say the vehicle appears to have crossed the road into the left lane before going through a ditch and colliding with a cliff.
