Winnipeg Police and members of the transportation industry are making it clear that they’ll be keeping a close eye on limousines and taxis over the summer, to ensure other motorists and passengers are kept safe.
Police officials announced Thursday that they would be conducting commercial passenger vehicle inspections throughout the summer months, including the long weekend in July, to promote safety for motorists. The inspections ensure compliance with laws and regulations in relation to the mechanical safety and standards of all vehicles and the companies they operate on behalf of.
