Two teens arrested in Laval bomb scare

LAVAL – Two teenagers have been arrested in Laval for phoning in a bomb threat to their local school, Poly-Jeunesse High School in the Auteuil district.

“911 managed to trace the call,” said Franco di Genova of the Laval police.

“It did come from a cell phone, just like in the other cases and they gave us the approximate location where this telephone was.”

A 15 year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy were arrested after the girl allegedly used the boy’s cellphone to make the call.

It’s the third bomb threat in three days against a school, but it’s the first one to produce arrest.

“Officers were set there and they saw a group of six young students, aged between 13 and 15,” said di Genova.
